Front and bottom of circular basis missing; pick-marks show that it was intentionally cut away. A break also on top of head, where rising edges show an original projection, perhaps a polos. Surface left ... 14 June 1938 ... Bust of longhaired bearded man to below middle of chest, which is nude save for a cloak draped over his left shoulder. Sarapis type. Grayish white marble, perhaps Island marble, with pronounced crystals.
