Complete from just below knees to neck; two large chips, flaked off from the upper right arm, mended (old break, caused by a hole between them). Left arm missing. S 1249: Votive Relief with Herakles and Worshippers

A rectangular relief with tongue below; intact save minor chips. At either side a pilaster supporting an epistyle on which is an inscription in shallow irregular spaced letters. At right, Herakles, nude, ... September 1947 ... Said to be from a house near the Ilissos, in the "Kynosarges" area.
