Title:   Statuette Fragment: Child or Eros with Bird

Description:   Preserved from shoulders to mid-thighs; right arm broken off.
Fat child, or maybe Eros, with protruding stomach and buttocks. Over bent left arm is drapery, which continues down side. On left side next to body he holds a bird, perhaps a goose, that bends its head back.
Front surface has dull, smooth finish. Back left rough. In center of shoulders a hole with remains of metal for attachment of head.
Pentelic marble.
